Titanium Ti-6Al-4V
METALGrade 5 and ELI (Grade 23) titanium powder for laser powder-bed machines. The highest-value powder we ship and the most heavily export-controlled. Full material data.
If you operate your own SLM or SLS line, the powder is your largest running cost and your most variable input. We supply titanium, stainless steel, aluminium alloy, copper and nylon powders in bulk, sourced from qualified mills with batch documentation traceable to the melt — and we check the export position for your destination before you commit.

We supply the same powders we run on our own lines, in the quantities a production shop or a research group consumes rather than the sachets a hobbyist buys. That covers titanium, stainless steel, aluminium alloy and copper for laser powder-bed metal machines, plus nylon grades for SLS. Each batch comes with a certificate of analysis stating particle size distribution, chemistry and oxygen content, traceable back to the melt it came from — because when a part fails a test, the powder batch is one of the first things you will be asked about.
Traceability is the part that separates industrial supply from "buying powder". A certificate of analysis that cannot be tied to a batch number, a batch that cannot be tied to a mill, and a mill that cannot be tied to a chemistry is not traceability — it is paperwork. We source from qualified mills, keep batch records, and quote the specific batch you will receive so you can put it in your own system before the shipment lands. Where re-use is concerned we will tell you plainly what proportion of virgin powder the material is suited to, and we will not sell recovered powder as virgin.
The commercial reality of metal powder is that it is export-controlled in most jurisdictions, and the rules differ by destination, by grade and by quantity. Rather than discover that at the port, run your destination through our export eligibility checker first. It covers 63 countries and states where a licence is required for each grade. If you need documentation for a licence application we will supply what we can, but we will not ship around a control.
The commercial and logistical terms matter as much as the chemistry when you are buying powder as a production input.
These are the powders we keep in supply. Each one corresponds to a material page with the full property data for the parts it makes.
Grade 5 and ELI (Grade 23) titanium powder for laser powder-bed machines. The highest-value powder we ship and the most heavily export-controlled. Full material data.
The most widely used metal powder we supply, and the most forgiving to run. Chloride- and acid-resistant, ductile and machinable. Full material data.
Casting-grade aluminium developed for laser powder-bed machines. Light, thermally conductive and the easiest of the metal powders to post-process. Full material data.
Pure copper, CuCrZr and GRCop-42. The most difficult powder to run, because copper reflects almost all of the infrared laser energy, and among the most controlled for export. Full material data.
Sintering-grade polyamide powders for SLS, including glass-filled PA12 and PA11 for impact-critical parts. Refresh-ratio guidance supplied with each batch. Full material data.
Powder elastomers for SLS parts that have to bend and return: gaskets, grips, shock absorbers. Shore hardness options — tell us the stiffness you need.
Powders outside this list — Inconel, CoCr, 17-4PH, specialist polymers — can be quoted on request, subject to export eligibility and mill availability. Ask before you design a process around them.
This is what buying powder from us actually looks like, and what we need from you at each step.
Model, build volume and layer thickness. Particle size distribution is machine-specific, and this is the single most useful piece of information you can give us.
Expected monthly consumption and the refresh ratio your process runs. That determines both the pack size and whether a standing supply arrangement makes more sense than repeat orders.
Run the country of import through the eligibility checker before we quote. Some grades need a licence in some destinations, and knowing early changes the whole timeline.
Not a generic grade — a batch number with its certificate of analysis, so you can qualify it in your own system before it ships.
Certificate of analysis, packing list and customs paperwork prepared to match the declared grade and quantity.
Air or sea freight from Guangzhou depending on volume and urgency, with tracking and customs documentation for the destination.
When a repeat needs a different batch we tell you in advance, because an unannounced chemistry change mid-qualification is a problem you would rather hear about from us.
If a powder will not run the way it should in your machine, tell us the parameters and the symptom. We run the same materials and can usually narrow it down.
Bulk powder is a B2B product with a specific buyer. These are the cases where our supply route is a good fit — and one where it is not.
A second qualified source for the powder your machines consume, with batch records that fit your quality system. The most common reason clients come to us.
Nylon supply with refresh-ratio guidance, where powder ageing and refresh proportion drive both part quality and running cost.
RePEATABLE batches with documented chemistry, which is what makes a result publishable and a comparison meaningful.
Powder for process development, with the certificate and the batch record you will need when the process is transferred to production.
Powder supply alongside printed reference parts, so you can compare your output against a known-good part in the same material.
Consumable supply arrangements for customers who have bought a machine and need a powder source that comes with documentation.
The five families and the machine each one belongs in. Full property data for the parts they make is on the material pages.
| Powder | Machine | Particle size | Parts made from it | Control status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ti-6Al-4V | Laser powder bed | 15–45 µm | Joints, brackets, medical instruments | Heavily controlled — check first |
| 316L stainless | Laser powder bed | 15–45 µm | Manifolds, process hardware, marine parts | Controlled — check first |
| AlSi10Mg | Laser powder bed | 15–45 µm | Heat sinks, brackets, RF housings | Controlled — check first |
| Copper & Cu alloys | Laser powder bed | 15–45 µm | Inductors, cold plates, RF components | Controlled & export sensitive |
| PA12 / PA11 | SLS | Polymer sintering range | Enclosures, brackets, end-use parts | Generally less restricted |
Run your destination through the export eligibility checker before requesting a quotation. It covers 63 countries, states where a licence is required for each grade, and takes less time than reading this sentence twice.
This is a bulk B2B product, so the honest answer is that it depends on the machine and the draw rather than a number we can state in isolation. Tell us the machine model, the build volume and your monthly consumption, and we will propose a pack size and a supply arrangement. If your requirement is genuinely small, we will say so rather than sell you a tonne.
Yes, with every batch. It covers particle size distribution, chemistry and oxygen content, and the batch number is traceable back to the melt of origin. When a part fails a test, the powder batch is one of the first things you will be asked about, and a certificate that cannot be tied to a batch number is not much use.
Often, but not always, and it depends on the grade as much as the country. Metal powders are export-controlled in most jurisdictions and the rules differ by destination, grade and quantity. Run your destination through our eligibility checker first — it covers 63 countries and will tell you where a licence is required. We will help with documentation, but we will not ship around a control.
We sell virgin powder, and where a material is suited to a proportion of recovery we will tell you the working refresh ratio plainly. We do not sell recovered powder as virgin, and we will not quote a refresh ratio we cannot stand behind.
By air or sea freight from Guangzhou, depending on volume and urgency. Metal powders are classified as hazardous goods for transport, which constrains air freight and adds documentation, so allow for that in your timeline. Customs paperwork is prepared to match the declared grade and quantity.
Sometimes. Inconel, CoCr, 17-4PH and specialist polymers can be quoted on request, subject to mill availability and export eligibility. The five families listed here are what we keep in supply and run ourselves, so they are the ones we can talk about from direct experience rather than from a datasheet.
Send the machine model, the build volume and your monthly consumption, plus the destination country. We will come back with a grade, a batch, the documentation and an honest view of the export position.
