What does LASEM actually do?
We are an on-demand 3D printing service in Guangzhou, China. You send a part, we make it in SLA, SLS or SLM on our own lines, inspect it and ship it worldwide. One piece is a normal order, not a favour.
Who do you work with?
Makers and hobbyists ordering a single part, product teams prototyping, and manufacturers buying production quantities. There is no minimum order and no account to open, and you do not need company details to start a conversation.
Which processes do you run in-house?
SLA resin, SLS nylon and SLM metal, all produced on our own lines in Guangzhou rather than brokered out. That is why the price, the inspection standard and the paperwork stay the same whichever process your part runs on.
How quickly do I get a price, and how quickly a part?
An indicative price appears in your browser in seconds, calculated from the geometry of your file. A written price from an engineer goes out the same working day and always within one. Production starts from the moment you approve the written price and the deposit lands.
Is the number in the quote box the price I pay?
Treat it as an indication, not an offer. It is calculated from your model at published market rates and does not bind either of us. The price that counts is the one an engineer sends you in writing after reviewing the model, before any work starts.
What is the minimum wall thickness I can 3D print?
Roughly 0.5 mm in SLA (1.0 mm is safer), 0.7-1.0 mm in SLS and 0.8-1.0 mm in SLM. Thinner walls risk warping or failing to build, so we flag a wall that is too thin before we quote rather than print it and hope.
Do you provide material certificates and traceability?
For metal parts we can supply a material certificate (mill test report or certificate of conformity) naming the alloy and the heat, plus RoHS / REACH declarations on request. Resin and nylon are traceable to the supplier lot. Tell us at quoting time if your quality system needs the paperwork.
Do you ship worldwide, and can I see my parts before they ship?
Both, yes. Express courier with DHL, FedEx or UPS, or freight for pallets, tracked door to door with the customs paperwork done. Every job is photographed after inspection as standard, and a live video walkthrough with the parts on the bench is available on request.
