Parts We Print

Every part on this page is here because of the process that makes it. Grouped by SLM metal, SLA resin and SLS nylon, with the material and the engineering reason each process wins for that geometry. It is a capability gallery, not a client list: case studies from real jobs are being prepared and will be published here as they are cleared.

How to Read This Gallery

Three things to know before you scroll.

What this page is

Sixteen part types, three processes, one page. Each card names the material and the engineering reason that process wins for that geometry — the same reasoning we apply to your enquiry before a number is quoted.

What this page is not

A client list. We do not publish customer work without written permission, and nothing here is presented as a delivered order. Detailed case studies — constraints, material selection, key parameters and results — are being prepared from real jobs, and they will appear on this page as they are cleared.

How to use it

Find the card closest to your part and start there. If nothing matches, that is usually the more interesting conversation: send the file and we will say which process we would run, where the risk sits, and roughly what it costs.

SLM · LASER POWDER BED FUSION

Metal Parts — SLM

Fully dense metal in titanium, stainless steel, aluminium and copper. Internal channels, thin walls and near-net-shape geometry that no cutter reaches — no tooling, no minimum order, one piece instead of five.

SLM titanium aerospace bracket with lightening ribs, machined faces and threaded interfaces

Aerospace & UAV Brackets

Ti-6Al-4V

Lightening ribs, machined faces and threaded interfaces in one build — the bracket arrives near net-shape instead of being milled out of a billet.

Turbine blade with internal lattice cooling channels in Ti-6Al-4V

Turbine & Impeller Blades

Ti-6Al-4V

Internal lattice cooling that follows the gas path — geometry a cutter cannot reach, in a metal that takes the temperature.

Liquid cold plate with an internal fin field and two ports, in AlSi10Mg

Cold Plates & Heat Sinks

AlSi10Mg

Fins and internal channels printed against the heat load in one piece — no brazed joints, no leakage paths, better thermal contact.

Conformal-cooled tooling plate with dense internal fins, in AlSi10Mg

Conformal-Cooled Tooling

AlSi10Mg

Cooling routed to follow the cavity instead of straight drilled lines — shorter cycle time, less warp, a better surface on the moulded part.

Lattice-structured head-tube junction for an e-bike frame, in SLM metal

Lattice Frame Junctions

AlSi10Mg · Ti-6Al-4V

Load paths drawn as structure rather than stock — material only where the loads run, which is where the mass saving comes from.

Metal robot joint housing with machined ports and bores, in titanium

Robot Joint Housings

Ti-6Al-4V

Ports, bores and mounting faces in a single build — an assembly that used to be five machined pieces becomes one printed one.

Lattice-stiffened inspection fixture in 316L stainless steel

Inspection Fixtures

316L

Lattice-stiffened gauges that hold datum without the mass — quick to produce, and quick to reprint when the design moves.

Build envelope, tolerance and the full material list are on the SLM metal printing service page.

SLA · STEREOLITHOGRAPHY

Resin Parts — SLA

The smoothest surface and the finest detail of anything we run, straight off the machine. Where the part has to look right, read as one piece, or let you see through it.

Prototype housings and enclosures in tough SLA resin

Prototype Housings

Tough resin

Thin walls, snap-fits and boss threads printed as one piece — the enclosure you can actually clip together, not a shell.

Anatomical model and surgical guide in medical resin

Anatomical Models & Guides

Medical resin

Patient-specific models and drill guides built from scan data — shapes that have no drawing, only a scan.

High-detail prop mask with undercuts, in SLA resin

Prop Masks & Helmets

Standard resin

Organic shapes, undercuts and fine detail that survive a close-up lens — printed in sections, then joined so the seam disappears.

Ornate prop weapon master with fine engraved detail, in castable resin

Prop Weapons & Castable Masters

Castable resin

Engraved detail straight off the machine, and a pattern that burns out clean for lost-wax casting when you need the metal version.

Resin grades, layer heights and finishing routes are on the SLA resin printing service page.

SLS · SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING

Nylon Parts — SLS

Tough engineering nylon with no supports and no witness marks. The workhorse for parts that get bolted, flexed, dropped, worn and used.

Robot frame and structural components in SLS nylon

Robot Frames & Structures

PA12 nylon

Frames that get bolted, dropped and leaned on — no supports means no witness marks on the faces that show.

Four-runner intake manifold in SLS nylon

Intake Manifolds & Ducting

PA11 · PA12 nylon

Runners and plenums printed as one piece — the geometry that flows well is usually the geometry a mould cannot release.

Custom orthosis with dial-adjustable hardware, in SLS nylon

Custom Orthoses

PA12 nylon

Worn all day against the body: tough, washable, and printed to a scan so the fit is measured rather than approximated. Non-implant only.

Wearable cosplay armour in SLS nylon

Wearable Cosplay Armour

PA12 nylon

Carried around a convention weekend — nylon takes a knock without cracking the way resin does.

Vented wrist and hand orthosis in SLS nylon

Wrist & Hand Splints

PA12 nylon

Vented and perforated where the skin breathes, solid where it has to hold — variable thickness across one part.

Powder grades, build envelope and what nylon will and will not take are on the SLS nylon printing service page.

FAQ

Straight Answers

The questions this page usually gets.

Are these photographs of parts you have printed?

No — and we would rather say so than let the pictures imply it. This gallery shows the part types we print, illustrated rather than photographed from customer work, because we do not publish a customer’s part without written permission. Detailed case studies built from real jobs are being prepared and will be published on this page as they are cleared.

Can you print something like one of these?

Usually yes, and the card tells you which process and material we would start from. Send the file through the quote page or the inquiry form and an engineer will come back within one business day with a process recommendation, the risk points on your geometry, and a firm price.

What if my part is not close to any of these?

That is often the more interesting conversation. Plenty of jobs combine two processes — a metal insert with a nylon housing, a resin master for a cast part — or need a split build and bonding. Describe what the part has to do and we will tell you straight if additive is the wrong answer.

Will you publish a case study of my part?

Only with your written permission, and only in a form you approve first. Customer identity can be anonymised entirely, and work under an NDA is not photographed for publication at all.
